Gate Exam Pattern 2018
Gate 2018 question paper is prepared by IIT Guwahati.
Gate 2018 exam is a computer based online exam. Gate 2018 exam duration is of 3 hours(180 minutes).
1. There are 3 section of Gate question paper. General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics and Subject specific.
2. Total number of 65 question will be there.
3. Total marks awarded for 65 question is 100 marks.
4. Gate 2018 question paper will consists of :Multiple choice questions (MCQ) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions.
5. Marking Scheme:For 1 mark MCQs, 1/4 marks will be deducted for every incorrect attempts.
6. In case of 2 marks MCQs, the candidate will be penalised 2/3 marks for wrong attempts
7. For question that aren't attempted, zero marks will be awarded.
8. There is no negative marking for numerical type questions.
General Aptitude and Mathematics are compulsory for every branch.
